Dave is a former Partner with KPMG LLP, bringing over 30 years of experience specializing in the Energy and Public Utility sectors. He has led audit engagements for major domestic and international corporations, including regulated gas and electric utilities, power generation companies, independent power producers, and telecommunications firms.

Before immigrating to the United States, Dave played a pivotal role in strengthening internal controls and financial reporting processes during the commercialization of South Africa’s national telecommunications department.

As a first-tier partner, Dave has a proven track record of delivering strong client results while maintaining uncompromising standards of risk management and quality. He has built and led teams of more than fifty professionals, overseeing significant SEC-registered clients with complex, dual-reporting requirements.

• Served as Lead Engagement Partner for large clients in the energy, regulated utility, and telecommunications industries, as well as private equity funds in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Extensive experience taking private companies public and advising utilities and major corporations on accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence.
• Led the audit of a leading U.S.-based sustainable energy company comprising eight regulated utilities and a significant renewable energy portfolio, subject to both U.S. SEC reporting and IFRS requirements as a subsidiary of a major European energy company.
